Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chillers are advanced cooling systems incorporating magnetic bearings to provide efficiency, reliability, and precise temperature control. These chillers are ideal for cooling large industrial spaces and processes and are commonly used in data centers and manufacturing facilities. The standard cooling temperature provided by these chillers is 6°C. The resulting waste heat is removed through dry recoolers installed on the roof.
Functionality
The compression refrigeration system works by using refrigerants that evaporate in the evaporator due to the heat input from the cooling water. This process leads to the cooling water cooling down. The refrigerant vapor is then drawn in and compressed by the refrigerant compressor, which is a highly efficient turbo compressor. The heat generated during the process of evaporation and compression is released into the environment in the condenser, causing the refrigerant vapor to condense. The pressure in the system is reduced through the use of an expansion valve, allowing the liquid refrigerant to evaporate again in the evaporator.
