Conference: Battery world meets in Aachen
Münster. At the international conference »Kraftwerk Batterie - Advanced Battery Power«, experts and interested parties can find out about the latest developments from all areas of the battery value cycle at the Eurogress Congress Center in Aachen. At the conference, the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production FFB will also present its range of services at booth 2 and provide insights into current development progress with numerous scientific posters. Participants can also expect a keynote address from Fraunhofer FFB General Manager Professor Dr. Simon Lux.
A comprehensive energy and mobility turnaround requires innovative, technology-driven solutions along the entire value chain of batteries and battery technologies. New insights into what these may look like will be provided by the 15th edition of the international trade conference »Kraftwerk Batterie - Advanced Battery Power« from April 27 to 28, 2023 in Aachen. As an English-language networking platform, the conference at the Eurogress Congress Center will bring together interested parties from research, development, and application and provide cross-industry information on the latest developments and innovations. More than 55 exhibitors, 350 posters, 65 presentations, and more than 650 participants are expected at the trade conference. The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production FFB will be represented at the conference with numerous activities:
At the beginning of the conference, Professor Dr. Simon Lux, a member of the general management of Fraunhofer FFB, will give a presentation as a keynote speaker on developing a large infrastructure for battery cell production research. Likewise, General Manager Professor Dr. Jens Tübke will present advances in cell design as a session leader in the first parallel session. In addition, Fraunhofer FFB employees will provide insights into current development progress along the entire value-added cycle in poster sessions and present their current research results in the direct dialog. The posters will deal with topics such as the data-based tracing of production parameters (keyword: » traceability «), the influence of climate change on the energy consumption of clean and dry rooms, or possibilities for production optimization through continuous mixing and the use of flexible pilot lines.
In a row with the location partners, Fraunhofer FFB offers at a booth as a competent contact person to all interested parties during the entire event the opportunity to inform themselves extensively and to exchange ideas. The focus is on the following key topics:
- Scaling of product and production technologies
- Technology and sustainability management
- Factory research and digitization
The international conference »Battery Power Plant - Advanced Battery Power« is embedded in the »Battery Conference 2023«, which will kick off with the Battery Day NRW on April 26, 2023. As a showcase, this will provide a comprehensive insight into companies and institutions from NRW active in battery technology and applications. In a start-up session, young founders from NRW will present how the leap from research to the industry can be made and which business ideas are new to the market. The event language of Battery Day is German.
The international conference »Power Plant Battery - Advanced Battery Power« 2023 is organized by the Haus der Technik (Essen), the MEET Battery Research Center of the WWU Münster, the Helmholtz Institute Münster of the Research Center Jülich, and the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) of the RWTH Aachen University.
Look forward to personal meetings, exciting speakers, engaging discussions, and numerous exhibitors from science and industry. The trade exhibition is located in the foyer of the Eurogress Aachen and is the communicative heart of the conference. Further information as well as registration for the events can be found on the event website.
